The CAMAudit Partner Playbook

A field guide for CPA firms, lease admin shops, tenant reps, fractional CFOs, and attorneys running CAM audit work under their own brand.

I built CAMAudit because the math in a CAM reconciliation is verifiable. The playbook is the wrapper around the math: how to qualify a prospect, how to sell without overpromising, how to price the engagement, how to deliver findings, how to stay on the right side of the legal line, and how to turn a completed engagement into the next two.

What the playbook covers

  • Qualification & Targeting

Who is a real CAM audit prospect, who burns time.

Recovery of past CAM overcharges depends on your specific lease terms, including any audit rights deadlines or ‘binding and conclusive’ provisions, and on applicable state law.

State statute of limitations periods apply to written contracts and range from 3 to 10 years. Your actual lookback window may be shorter based on your lease.
