Service Description
CamAudit is a CAM (Common Area Maintenance) audit platform for commercial tenants. We analyze your commercial lease agreement and annual CAM reconciliation statement to identify potential overcharges using twelve detection rules. Results are delivered as a digital audit report.
Not legal advice. CamAudit provides data analysis, not legal counsel. Our findings are analytical outputs based on document content and mathematical calculations. We recommend consulting a qualified attorney before taking legal action against your landlord.
CamAudit is a software tool. We are not a law firm, accounting firm, or licensed professional service. We provide automated document analysis that identifies potential discrepancies in your CAM statements. You are responsible for verifying our findings, deciding how to use them, and consulting appropriate professionals before taking any action.
Fees
CamAudit uses flat-fee credit packs. Current package prices are $199 for one audit (60% off), $499 for three audits (67% off), and $699 for five audits (72% off). Each unlocked report consumes one credit.
You may purchase credits before or during checkout. Credits do not expire. Scanning is free and payment is required only when you choose to unlock the full report.
Money-Back Guarantee
CamAudit offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your audit for any reason, contact us within 30 days of payment and we will issue a full refund. Refund requests submitted after 30 days will not be eligible for a full refund.
What We Do Not Guarantee
We do not guarantee that your landlord will agree with our findings, issue a credit, or make a payment. The outcome of any dispute between you and your landlord is outside our control. CamAudit guarantees the accuracy of our calculations and the integrity of our analysis, not the result of any negotiation.
We do not guarantee that our findings are complete, that every overcharge will be detected, or that detected findings are free from error. Our analysis is based on the documents you provide and the information extractable from them. Missing pages, poor scan quality, or unusual lease structures may affect results.
Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for:
- Verifying our findings against your original lease and CAM documents
- Deciding whether and how to communicate findings to your landlord
- Any demand letters you choose to send (CamAudit generates templates — you decide whether to use, modify, or discard them)
- Consulting a licensed attorney before taking legal action
- Understanding the legal implications of any dispute with your landlord
CamAudit facilitates analysis. What you do with that analysis is your decision and your responsibility.
Indemnification
You agree to hold CamAudit harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our analysis, reports, or demand letter templates in any dispute with your landlord or any third party.
Your Data
You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant CamAudit a limited license to process them for the purpose of delivering your audit results. We do not share your documents with third parties except as required to operate the service (see our Privacy Policy).
By submitting documents, you represent that you are authorized to share them. CamAudit may use anonymized, derived quality signals from your uploads to improve product performance. Source documents are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted.
Acceptable Use
You may use CamAudit only for lawful purposes and only in connection with commercial lease audits you have the right to conduct. You may not attempt to circumvent our fee structure, upload documents you do not have authorization to share, or use the platform to harm third parties.
Limitation of Liability
CamAudit's liability is limited to the fees you paid for the audit in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on audit results.
The service is provided as-is. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the completeness or accuracy of our analysis for your specific situation. Our tools are designed to identify common CAM billing patterns — they may not catch every issue or account for every lease provision.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes arising from your use of CamAudit will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules.
